CLOSING SPEECH

1. Semasa berkemas-kemas fail, saya terjumpa fail ucapan penutup saya semasa berkursus di Jepun.


2. Kursus dua bulan setengah sahaja, tetapi diberi peluang berucap mewakili peserta kursus dari beberapa buah negara.

3. Semasa hari-hari terakhir saya setelah 30 tahun dalam kerajaan, saya sediakanlah deraf ucapan, namun tidak diberikan peluang tersebut. Apa perasaan anda?.

Ladies and gentlement

Good Afternoon and thank you for attending our function today.

Ten weeks ago we gathered here for the opening ceremony of the DP Division Manager and Sugarcane course.  Today we meet again at the same place but different function.  With the attendance of each and everyone of you, we have now reached to the end of our course:
DP Division Manager and Telecommunication Engineering for the Island region.

Since our arrival in Okinawa and OIC until now,  we have learned and achieved a lot.  We have a wonderful lectures discussions presentations hands-on exercises,  case study and workshops in Data Processing field.  Apart from the technical and formal class, we also have learned Nihongo,
visited a couple of company nearby, participated in international exchange programme with local communities and not to forget the memorable and enjoyable observation tour to the mainland Japan.

Throughout our stay in OIC also,  we have participated in many events such as tea ceremony, ikebana, homestay and home visits, various games and sports, parties, trip to islands and more.

From all over the world we come here in Okinawa to learn from the best, strugling to be better managers,  Also to promote understanding, friendship and cooperation between us, our countries and Japan.  With the technical expertise and facilities that OIC have also the cooperation given by all parties, all objectives have been met.

We are among the lucky people selected from all over the world to represent our country in OIC,
Okinawa and Japan.  Thanks to JICA and Japan government.

Special thanks to all OIC staff,  instructors, coordinators and to everyone who contribute directly or indirectly on their own capacity to the success of DP Manager Class 1999.

Last but not least,  I would like to take this opportunity to thanks my wonderful classmates. I believe we have learned a lot from each other.  I hope we will still keep in touch upon return to your home country.  Please join JICA Alumni in your country and keep in touch with JICA activities.

Okinawa, island of the hibiscus
Strong typhoon really scared us

Our stay in OIC
Short sweet and juicy

Our class in DP manager
Will always be remember

Two months may be shorter
However we are managers
So we are so special
Coordinated by four  coordinators

Miyagi-san in the beginning
Gushi-san during the planning
Tokumori-san for the touring
Yakabi-san the ever lasting

Yamamoto-san always smile, cool and never anger
Yamada-san sub-course leader
Both of you manage us the managers
Not forgetable Hasegawa-san course director
Itoyama-san the training officer

Tonight is our last
Time gone very fast
Hope to stay here everlast
But many task waiting us

Live here will become me the past
Sayonara is hardly  to discuss
My be jamata just for us
If God permit us
Meet again between catches……..

To all kenshuin
JICA Alumni to join
Wish to meet again next time

This is the time to remenber
We all are managers
Either now or in the near future
But…..hopefuly not forever
Tomorrow may become director
